Chatter PDX will perform Kimberly’s Extracted Wisdom alongside works by Akshaya Tucker, Missy Mazzoli, and Brahms as part of their 52-week concert series. A set of miniatures inspired by wisdom tooth removal procedures, the piece will be performed by a quartet of Oregon Symphony musicians: Keiko Araki and Shintaro Taneda on violin, Haojian Wang on viola, and Trevor Fitzpatrick on cello. The performance is part of Kimberly’s chatterWORKS residency with the ensemble.
