Kimberly is currently writing a brand new work for bassoon and horn that will be premiered as part of the 54th annual IDRS conference in Indianapolis. Commissioned by Makayla Rasmussen & Jonathan Hughes, Félicette is inspired by the story of the first cat sent into space. While her story is harrowing, she received a beautiful new chapter thanks to an artist (and 1100 Kickstarter funders!) who sought to give her a new ending.
