WORLD PREMIERE: Perpetual Motions

  • St. Andrew's United Methodist Church 327 Marlton Pike West Cherry Hill Township, NJ, 08002 United States (map)

Tara Rozanski and Natasha Loomis give the world premiere performance of Perpetual Motions, a work inspired by the history of tortilla-making for two piccolos and electronics. Commissioned by pianist-composer Chris Opperman for the duo, the work explores just how little the process for making tortillas has changed in its thousands-year-long history—and just how much the world has changed around them.
