Natalie Groom presents Freaks of Nature as part of her presentation "Activism in Music: Flex Chamber Experiences for HS/Undergrad” as part of the Maryland Music Educators Association All State Conference. Written for clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, this multimovement work is inspired by various endangered species that appear freakish in appearance, but harbor interesting, useful, and even beautiful features.
