Natalie Groom presents Freaks of Nature at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County (UMBC). Written for clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, this multimovement work is inspired by various endangered species that appear freakish in appearance, but harbor interesting, useful, and even beautiful features.
